Directed the redevelopment of a 650-acre stone quarry into the existing Cantera mixed-use development that now surrounds the I-88/Winfield Road Interchange. This project includes more than $100 million in public infrastructure and earthwork improvements, 2 million sq. ft. of corporate office space, five hotels, a 30-plex theater, a SuperTarget, 13 free-standing restaurants, 950+ Class-A apartments, and 220 townhomes. The project generated $106 million in tax increment financing (TIF) revenue and currently produces more than half of the City's annual tax revenue.
Managed the development entitlements, administered the TIF redevelopment agreement, negotiated a $9 million project close-out and settlement agreement, and directed the review and inspection of $106+ million in infrastructure improvements.
Facilitated the assemblage and redevelopment of a 31-acre parcel into a $73 million mixed-use project with 89 townhomes, 258 Class-A apartments, and four- acres of commercial/retail. This project required substantial floodplain and wetland mitigation, extensive off-site infrastructure improvements), multiple intergovernmental and development agreements, and a complex zoning entitlement structure.
